Letter from the Dean

GREETINGS,

^Since launching the Bauer College Strategic Plan just a few years ago, one word that has been consistently present in my mind is “legacy.” With the tremendous success that the college has achieved through the plan, an outstanding and historic legacy is being crafted in front of our very eyes. 

This issue of Inside Bauer highlights some of the most impressive achievements at Bauer College in the last year and the legacy generated by those accomplishments. Together, we are reaching new heights in being a nationally recognized program while also setting standards and breaking records.  

One of the biggest marks in the legacy of Bauer is of course the Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship. This year, the program again earned the #1 spot for entrepreneurial programs in the nation for a fifth straight year — yes, a five-peat! You can read more about the talent behind this historic ranking as you explore this issue of Inside Bauer. 

This issue also shares more success stories, highlighting Bauer students gaining hands-on experience in the nation’s capital through our Bauer in D.C. Fellowship as well as alumni crafting their own legacy by giving back to the school and making a name for themselves. Every single student, faculty, staff, alumni and donor has contributed to creating this outstanding Bauer College legacy, and there is still more to be written! Indeed, The Future Is Our Business!
