Bauer Invites Future Leaders to Annual EMBA Open House

On April 10, Bauer College invites prospective students to live a day in the life of an Executive MBA student. They will have the opportunity to talk with the college’s top-tier research faculty, connect with the campus community and learn how the program can help launch them to the next step in their careers.

Classroom & Business Building (CBB), 4th floor 
10:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

The EMBA Open House will start the day off with coffee and networking, where attendees can mingle network and hear all of what the program has to offer from current students.  

Later, Professor of Practice Gordon Smith will teach a mock EMBA class. He will cover supply chain management and give prospective students a sneak peek into what they can expect when finals time comes around. 

The curriculum in the EMBA program is led by industry professionals and the students. By bringing in people with various backgrounds and experiences, Bauer creates a playground for students to explore new ideas and grow their thinking.   

As a part of the Open House, attendees are invited to the Office of Graduate & Professional Programs’ annual Women on the Rise event. This event invites Bauer women who either alumni or college leadership to speak on their time in the program and share their experiences that shaped them.  

This year incoming and current students will have the opportunity to connect with esteemed alumna and EY Partner Regina Balderas (BBA ‘95).  

The day will end with a chance for prospective students to talk with advisors to learn how they can apply and fund the next step in their educational journey. They will also have the opportunity to connect with Bauer’s extensive alumni network that are now shaping and leading an ever-evolving business world.
