Whose City? Coogs City!
Bauer Undergraduates Show School and Community Pride During Homecoming
Undergraduate students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business put their Cougar spirit on full display as the University of Houston campus celebrated the 78th annual Homecoming.
This year’s Homecoming theme “Coog City” inspired Bauer student organization to break out the construction paper, glue and red tinsel for a Door Decoration Competition. Bauer alumni got in on the fun too with the Bauer College Alumni Association selecting the winners of the decorating competition, which included:
FIRST PLACE
SECOND PLACE
THIRD PLACE
But it wasn’t all papier-mâché and glitter.
Bauer students also took time to give back and support the community.
Bauer Ambassadors hosted a canned food drive to support the Cougar Cupboard, a food insecurity and instability resource operated by UH and the Houston Food Bank.
Bauer Ambassadors, student organizations and Bauer students worked together to collect over 1,000 canned goods. Students also donated their time to help sort, box and drop off the canned goods that will help support their fellow Coogs.
