The Ingredients of Leadership
Houston Exponential CEO Natara Branch (BBA '98) Shares Insight with Bauer Students at Bauer Leadership Night
Earlier this month, Bauer Leadership Initiatives hosted their annual Bauer Leadership Night, inviting students for an evening of networking and learning the meaning of leadership from a guest speaker.
This year, Bauer alumna and Houston Exponential CEO Natara Branch (BBA ’98) spoke to students about her various leadership journey. After graduating from Bauer, Branch went on to work for ExxonMobil, served as the first Black Woman Vice President of Football Business Operations and Strategy for the NFL and now serves as CEO for Houston Exponential.
During her discussion with students, Branch touched on three leadership ingredients: vision, culture and experience, highlighting the idea that a strong leader is always learning, leaning on their own personal board of directors to hold them accountable.
