The Future of Real Estate
Meet Spring 2026 Real Estate Mentorship Program Cohort
The Bauer College Stanford Alexander Center for Real Estate (SACRE) has built their curriculum on a foundation of applicable industry practices, with courses taught by leading real estate professionals in Houston.
The Real Estate Mentorship program builds off that foundation by pairing students with commercial real estate experts in a semester-long experiential learning opportunity.
Throughout the course of the mentorship, students shadow their mentors, learn the tricks of the trade and get hands-on experience in the industry that will help them achieve their career goals.
The Spring 2026 Real Estate Mentorship pairings are...
Miguel Dacones, paired with Sandcastle Homes Inc. CEO Mike Dishberger.
“I see this as another opportunity to improve myself personally and professionally by going outside my comfort zone. This is a chance for me to see what I’m capable of.”

Lena Pham, paired with Halliburton Vice President Real Estate Services Maggie Hatfield-Hartley.
“I joined this mentorship program because I really wanted to talk to more industry professional people, especially since I’m graduating at the end of this year. One-on-one experience was really important to me too. I’m first-generation, so I can’t go to my parents and ask them questions about my career, so I would love to have a mentor who I could go to and seek guidance from.”

Jesus Mendoza, paired with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center Facilities Management Business Services AVP Samantha Harris.
“This is my second time in the Real Estate Mentorship Program. One thing I learned the first time was getting comfortable with being uncomfortable. It gave me a little bit of insight into how it is in the corporate world. I initially thought we were mainly going to be talking in a business setting, but I learned a lot of life lessons from my mentor that was very eye opening.”
