Bauer College Board Selects Two New Student Representatives
The C. T. Bauer College of Business has announced the addition of two new student representatives for the Bauer College Board.
Bauer finance senior Francisco Trujillo and MBA candidate Sean Peed will each serve a one-year term and will provide the student perspective to board business.
The Bauer College Board advises the dean, providing input on several critical issues, including strategy, thought leadership, student engagement and curricular relevance, with subcommittees focusing on fundraising, curriculum, branding and recruiting.
Francisco Trujillo
Finance Senior
Francisco Trujillo is a Bauer College undergraduate student who transferred from Houston Community College, where he earned an Associate of Business Administration and Management degree last spring.
He works while attending school, serving as a current asset protection investigator and associate at Walmart, where he analyzes monthly profit, loss and other financial reports, audits merchandise and assists in monthly inventory procedures.
Trujillo was accepted into the college’s A.R. "Tony" and Maria J. Sanchez Program for Excellence in Selling (PES) in the Stephen Stagner Sales Excellence Institute, where he recently worked as a student sales professional during the Spring 2024 PES Open Golf Tournament. He is also a member of the Investment Banking Scholars Club, an organization that trains and connects undergraduate students to high finance.
Sean Peed
MBA Candidate
Sean Peed is the co-founder and managing partner of S&M Peed Properties, LLC, a company that manages two residential rental properties and a 24-unit self-storage facility. In this position, he evaluates risk and return of current assets and investments, analyzes market data and manages day-to-day property operations.
While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Peed worked with Marathon Petroleum Corporation as a reliability engineer co-op and a project engineer co-op. After graduating from Texas A&M University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, he accepted a staff assessor position with Partner Engineering and Science, Inc., where he gained experience in property condition assessments and financial performance cost table creation.
Now, as a Bauer graduate student, Peed serves as the chief executive officer for the Bauer MBA Society. He was appointed to this role after serving as the chief financial officer starting in January 2024.
