Bauer Celebrate Faculty Teaching & Research with Awards Luncheon
The C. T. Bauer College of Business recently celebrated faculty members at an end-of-the-academic-year awards luncheon to honor their achievements in the classroom and the realm of research.
Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Praveen Kumar began the event with Bauer College Dean Paul A. Pavlou giving opening and closing statements while also handing out each award. Associate Dean for Research and Bauer Professor of Marketing Vanessa Patrick and Office of Digital Learning Director and Professor of Practice Emese Fevelgi presented awards alongside Kumar.
“It is a great pleasure to organize faculty and researchers together for this wonderful occasion of celebrating our successes,” Pavlou said. “It is wonderful to see all the accomplishments from our faculty across the board in teaching, research, experiential learning, AI and more. Thank you to all the faculty for making Bauer such a successful place.”
Faculty received many different awards, ranging from excellence in teaching to “Research Star” trophies for those who have published one or more scholarly articles in the last year in top tier academic journals in their respective field.
“We want everyone to continue working on their research so we can give out more and more of these star trophy awards,” Patrick said. “I want to give away so many of these trophies that each of you will be able to have your own constellation of research.”
