Bauer Ambassadors Finding Community Through Service

During the school year, Bauer Ambassadors are cheerleaders, institutional encyclopedias and a smiling force who uphold the spirit of the C. T. Bauer College of Business while serving as ethics advocates

While these friendly faces often leave a lasting impression throughout the community, members say that the program makes that same positive impact on them.

At this spring’s awards event, students shared what being a Bauer Ambassador meant to them.

Kaitlyn Chung

“Bauer Ambassadors brought all of us together like a family. I love all the members, and I enjoyed seeing everyone over and over again. It's just like having old friends that you see every so often.

They became my advisers, mentors and friends.”

Mubin Momin

“Coming in as a freshman, I knew no one on campus since I'm not from Houston.

The program gave me a sense of community and brought me mentors who helped get me to where I am today.”

Nylah Jenkins

“For the past two years, Bauer Ambassadors has been a major opportunity for growth. It means a lot to me professionally and personally.

It was a place where I met a lot of my closest friends and grew into who I want to be going into my career.”

Emily Agruso

“This program has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone and build myself as a leader.

I owe so much to this program as it helped prepare me for the professional world outside of college.”
