Sights & Sounds: Wolff Center is #1 Again
Bauer Entrepreneurship Students, Faculty and Staff
Celebrate No. 1 Ranking
Melcher Hall buzzed with excitement Tuesday morning as the Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston celebrated its sixth consecutive No. 1 ranking for the undergraduate entrepreneurship program.
The Wolff Center’s emphasis on comprehensive programming, an extensive network of mentors, and a high graduate success rate contributed to the program's top ranking over hundreds of others in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Europe. The ranking was compiled by The Princeton Review.
Bauer College Interim Dean Praveen Kumar made the formal announcement to cheers and applause from the crowd, which included program benefactor Cyvia Wolff and Wayne Duddlesten Foundation Executive Director Charlene Slack, along with Bauer College students, faculty and staff.
Here, we capture some moments that were seen and heard at the celebration.

“Entrepreneurship is the engine for life transformations and is really what Bauer College and the University of Houston are all about. Teaching entrepreneurship is a major beneficial force for our college, our students and also our Houston community. Over time thousands of companies have been formed, that impact is nationwide, even global.”

“We're delighted for the sixth year in a row to be ranked the number one program. It's a wonderful reflection of the effort that people like this and our staff and our mentors and the students that are attracting to the program. I couldn't be more proud for them or more honored to be part of this group of people.”
Cyvia Wolff
“The secret sauce. I've got Dave (Cook)! He is the secret sauce. I'm just the fertilizer. Anybody can give money. I’m just fortunate to be part of this program and that Dave has allowed me to just be part of everything that happens.”
Keith Rassin
Adjunct Faculty
“I think the fact that we keep doing this over and over is a testament to the team that works at the Wolff Center and the supporters and stakeholders of the Wolff Center. We've found a program that the kids love, and we love to teach that!”
Mateo Sharp

“It's an amazing experience to just even be in the program. I've learned so much and this ranking validates the fact that everything that we're doing is on the right track, and it helps me grow personally and professionally. It's completely life-changing to even just be in the program.”
Danlin Wu
