Students Invited to Discover Study Abroad Opportunities with Bauer College
Students can learn about the unique learning abroad programs the C. T. Bauer College of Business has to offer at the University of Houston Learning Abroad Fall Fair on Thursday, Sept. 10.
There are various trips scheduled throughout the academic year that are open at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
In Spring 2027, Bauer graduate and Honors College students can travel abroad to study in Singapore. An additional study abroad trip to India, open to both undergraduate and graduate students, is also being considered. Then, scheduled for the Summer Mini Session is a trip to Berlin, open only at the graduate level.
"All our learning abroad programs are built around the same idea: connecting what you learned in the classroom to real world global business experience," Instructional Associate Professor and MS Management & Leadership Faculty Director Marina Sebastijanovic.

Singapore Learning Abroad
March 14-20, 2027
This program is open to graduate students and undergraduate students enrolled in the Honors College.
Berlin Learning Abroad
May 23–29, 2027
This program is only open to graduate students.
The learning abroad programs offer specialized insights into international business issues, with each trip anchored by an academic focus that is meant to broaden students' knowledge while being immersed in the culture.
For example, in Berlin, the lessons are centered around the legal environment and human resource management, while in Singapore the focus is on innovation and artificial intelligence.
Students can attend the UH Learning Abroad Fair in the Student Center South on Thursday, Sept. 10 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. to learn more. Sebastijanovic can be found in the Houston Room, and she encourages students to bring their curiosity.
"This is a chance for students to talk to someone face-to-face and get all their questions answered," Sebastijanovic said. "It's a big undertaking. You're traveling to another country, so there are a lot of details that need to be covered."
