Bauer Launches In-Person Executive Education Offerings in Katy
West Houston business leaders looking to advance their knowledge and careers will soon have access to C. T. Bauer College of Business Office of Executive Development offerings, without having to travel into the city.
On March 6, Bauer College will host an inaugural executive education introduction event in Katy, including a preview of upcoming sessions and networking opportunities for local professionals. Bauer Associate Dean for Executive Development Cheryl Baldwin said that by expanding into Katy, they hope to increase professional development options for businesses that are quickly expanding in the area.
“We are looking at the needs of companies, government agencies and school systems in that area,” Baldwin said. “We are identifying some of the issues that can be addressed through training and development, whether it be at their C-suite level or the management level.”
She added: “Our faculty can design training to address any of the professional development concerns that companies might have. The advantage for them is we're going to be right in their backyard and able to provide on-site customized training or open enrollment courses on Fridays to those companies.”
Executive Development’s Katy offerings are not exclusive to specific to any particular industry and expand on topics are relevant across business, including leadership and artificial intelligence.
Custom programs will also be available to tailor to organizations’ specific needs.
“The learning objectives will be different for each course, but we hope that employees will expand their knowledge for the company, increase productivity and enhance performance,” Baldwin said.
