Impressing the Best

Over 200 recruiters gathered at the University of Houston Hilton to meet with C. T. Bauer College of Business students at the Rockwell Career Center’s Spring Business Career Fair. 

Hosted every semester, students take advantage of the opportunity to meet with major companies such as Target Corporation, Deloitte, NRG Energy, KPMG, Dell Technologies and many more to discuss internships, part-time and full-time positions.  

“We are always very excited to have excellent companies and excellent students all here at the same time and place,” Associate Dean for Career and Industry Engagement Jamie Belinne said. “We are fortunate to have one of the largest career fairs in this region. It is a testament to the quality of our students and the quality of education they are receiving at Bauer College that they have this level of employer coming to hire them.” 

The Business Career Fair is the largest on-campus recruiting event for Bauer students, occurring early each semester. To prepare for the event, the Rockwell Career Center works with students throughout each semester providing opportunities such as the pre-recruiting mixer, one-on-one career counseling, mock interviews and résumé reviews.
