Students to Receive Professional Feedback at RCC Résumé Kickoff to Prepare for Fall Business Career Fair
To help students polish their résumés for the upcoming recruiting cycle, the C. T. Bauer College of Business is hosting Résumé Kickoff on campus from Sept. 8-10.
Hosted by the Rockwell Career Center (RCC), students can receive résumé feedback from career counselors and corporate coaches at the event without scheduling an appointment in advance.
Coaches will review the Bauer résumé format and answer questions directly in individual sessions lasting around 10 minutes. RCC Associate Director for Undergraduate Career Services Amanda Ware said the event is a low-pressure opportunity for students to receive career advice by briefly attending between classes.
“It’s great for people who just made their résumé and have never made one before, all the way up to seniors who've been actively working on their résumé for years,” Ware said. “I would recommend it to every Bauer student.”
The event is open to undergraduate and graduate students and is designed to prepare students for the Bauer Career Fair. After incorporating the feedback, RCC staff said students feel more prepared to discuss their professional experiences with recruiters.
RCC Résumé Kickoff will be from Sept 8-10 at 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the Melcher Hall Ticker area.
