Prospective Executive MBA Students Can Learn from Sales Industry Expert in June 10 Preview Class
Prospective C. T. Bauer College of Business Executive MBA students will get a firsthand look at the program this June, taking a seat in a real classroom led by one of the industry’s most experienced sales leaders.
At the June 10 Executive MBA Preview Class, attendees will connect with current students, alumni, faculty and staff while experiencing a live session taught by Stephen Stagner Sales Excellence Institute Executive Director Randy Webb (EMBA ‘99).
Before joining the Bauer faculty, Webb spent nearly three decades in consumer packaged goods, including leadership roles as the Vice President of Sales at M&M and later the President of Mars Foods. He brings that experience directly into the classroom.
“My classes are very interactive and always start with a case study,” Webb said. “We discuss the case, and then we talk about corporate politics in the context of what it's really like. People pursue their Executive MBA to move forward in their career, so my class is designed to help them do that.”

The preview class gives prospective students a clear sense of how Bauer’s Executive MBA operates and what sets it apart from other programs.
“It’s an opportunity to see how the program works in practice,” said Melissa Lightell, senior executive director of Graduate Recruitment and Admissions. “You engage directly with the material, meet the people and understand the level of conversation and expectations you’ll be stepping into.”
Participants also experience the network that defines the program. They will connect with prospective classmates and hear directly from current students about how the program translates into real career impact.
The Bauer Executive MBA program is built for experienced professionals, typically at the director level, who are preparing for broader leadership responsibility.
“This is a leadership program,” Lightell said. “As industries evolve, the ability to lead through change matters. That’s what this program is designed to build.”
