Continuing the Climb

U.S. News & World Report has included Bauer College graduate programs on their 2024 Best Online Programs list, with the college’s Online MS programs gaining three spots among publics from the previous year and ranking in the top 25 for online programs for veterans. 

The annual list ranks the Best Online Master’s in Business Programs, which include degrees in accounting, finance, insurance, marketing and management, based on factors including faculty credentials, services and technologies available to students, student engagement, academic quality and expert opinion of high-ranking academic officials.    

Bauer’s program placed 51^st (tied) among public business schools, advancing three spots from 2023 and putting the program just shy of the Top 50. This year’s list also marks the first time that U.S. News ranks Best Online Programs for Veterans, with Bauer placing No. 22 among public universities for its online master's programs.  

“We are continuing to prove that Bauer College is a leader in instructional innovation and digital learning, providing rich experiences for our students with accessible online offerings that are affordable, flexible and convenient,” Bauer Dean and Cullen Distinguished Chair Paul A. Pavlou said. “We are also extremely proud to be among the top online programs in the nation.”

In addition, this year is the first for the Bauer Online MBA, launched in 2021, to be eligible for inclusion on the list, ranking in the general list and placing 75th among public business schools for Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans. 

“It is exciting to see our online programs continue to climb in the rankings,” Associate Dean of Graduate and Professional Programs Leiser Silva said. “It is thanks to the hard work and dedication of the faculty and staff who continue to support and improve the program that we are able to better serve our students.”   

Bauer College launched online graduate programs in 2019 with the Online MS in Management & Leadership and has since expanded the graduate curriculum to include 10 online programs ranging from accountancy to real estate, with up to five more online MS programs coming in 2024.
