Bauer MSACCY Candidates Named Inaugural Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars

This fall, the Department of Accountancy & Taxation at the C. T. Bauer College of Business has announced the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars who will receive a full-ride scholarship for the Master of Science in Accountancy (MSACCY) program for the 2023-2024 academic year. As a participating Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP) school, Bauer College and the Deloitte Foundation will cover 100% of tuition (excluding books and living expenses) for the selected students.

This year’s scholarship recipients have each worked hard to learn their chosen profession, spending long hours of study doing so, and have succeeded gloriously despite the many obstacles they have encountered along their academic journey,” Director of Accounting Programs and Professor of Practice Michael Newman said. “Each student has their own unique story to tell, but all will now be able to concentrate on their studies thanks to the generosity of the Deloitte Foundation.”

Launched in 2021, the Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program (DFASP) works in parallel with Deloitte’s MADE (Making Accounting Diverse and Equitable) commitment.
