Bauer MBA Alumnus and Founder of C-Suite Comp Shares How Education Opened Doors

Networking with the professors at Bauer College was a cornerstone that helped build up MBA finance alumnus Tanvir Hossain and his business that is now recognized by Fortune 500 companies.
Founded in 2022, C-Suite Comp is a company that analyzes executive level compensation data that easily integrates into customizable graphs and charts for easy comparison.
Prior to developing C-Suite Comp, Hossain had his own consulting firm and founded his own training company called Optima Train that is still active and offers professional development and management training.
At Optima Train, Hossain worked primarily with project managers and HR executives. It was during that time that the concept for C-Suite Comp was born.
“We were providing training to these companies anyway, but at the same time, since we were with working with people in HR, we asked them, how do you compensate your executives?” Hossain said. “How do you compensate your board members? So that idea germinated into (C-Suite Comp) that is now used by Fortune 500 companies, Russell 3000 firms, private companies, and compensation consulting firms for benchmarking pay to ensure compensation packages are competitive. C-Suite Comp also provides an assortment of tools to help companies comply with SEC regulations”
Hossain said that his education at Bauer helped prepare him for a successful career in many ways. The time spent during his MBA helped him strengthen his critical thinking skills, gave him confidence to pursue his ambitions and gave him a toolbox of knowledge to back that confidence up.

He also put in the effort to connect with his professors during his MBA and build a network of professionals that he would come to rely on in the development of C-Suite Comp. Hossain's education at Bauer also helped him in realize that he could not accomplish everything he wanted to achieve by working alone and finds his team at C-Suite Comp to be invaluable.
