Building a Network

Earlier this month, recruiters from leading organizations packed the Hilton University of Houston to meet with students from the C. T. Bauer College of Business during the Rockwell Career Center's Fall Business Career Fair.

More than 500 Bauer College students attended the event, which drew participation from116 companies, including ConocoPhillips, HPE, Shell, KPMG, Chevron and others, all looking to fill internships, part-time and full-time positions.

Held twice a year, Career Fair is the largest on-campus recruiting event for Bauer students. Throughout the year, Rockwell Career Center provides additional opportunities for students to network with employers, including pre-recruiting mixers and company information sessions, as well as career prep resources, like one-on-one career counseling, résumé reviews and workshops.
