Believe the HYPE

The C. T. Bauer College of Business is affirming its focus on supporting Houston’s next generation of business leaders through a sponsorship of the Greater Houston Partnership’s Houston Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (HYPE) organization. 

Bauer College is serving as a gold sponsor of HYPE’s upcoming five-session professional development series through a joint effort between Graduate and Professional Programs, the Department of Accountancy & Taxation and the Office of Executive Development.  

"By aligning Bauer with the Greater Houston Partnership, we’re able to extend our reach across the city to create partnerships, recruit students and support development for young business leaders,” Graduate and Professional Programs Associate Dean Leiser Silva said. “We are looking forward to the connections we make over the coming months to help move the city forward.”  

The HYPE professional development series begins April 17 and runs through the end of November. During these events, representatives from each sponsoring Bauer program and department will be on hand to network with HYPE participants, share information about opportunities at the college and participate in professional development exercises.  

HYPE is an organization housed in the Greater Houston Partnership, offering professional development opportunities for members looking to improve themselves toward future career growth. Members of the organization can also look forward to regular engagement throughout the year and a bimonthly newsletter aimed at building professional and leadership skills.
