The C. T. Bauer College of Business celebrated faculty across academic departments this spring for their work in teaching, research and service at the Spring 2026 Faculty Awards.  

Senior Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs Vijay Yerramilli, who led the event and has served on the college's finance faculty for more than a decade, said he has seen tremendous growth across multiple areas of the college thanks to the hard work and dedication of the faculty.  

The awards ceremony is only a small token of appreciation for all that they do, he added.  

“It’s a way for all of us to come together and recognize faculty excellence,” Yerramilli said. “This is an opportunity to celebrate each other’s achievements.”  

Faculty awards are given across three categories: teaching, service and research. Each of these areas play a vital role in enhancing the student experience and strengthening the foundation of the college, Yerramilli said.
