As the Fall 2023 semester begins, Bauer College has several upcoming events focused on involvement and engagement, student success and career services.

Bauer Involvement Fair
August 28 – 31
9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. | Melcher Hall, AIM Ticker Area and Back Drum

More than two dozen undergraduate and graduate student organizations at Bauer will connect with prospective new members during the college’s biannual Bauer Involvement Fair.

The event allows student organizations to meet with students who are interested in getting involved. Representatives from each undergraduate organization will be available to provide what their organization has to offer and to answer questions.

Bauer Abroad Fair
September (TBD)

Bauer students will have the opportunity to learn about the multiple faculty-led learning abroad programs. Learn how you can spend a summer, semester or even a year studying in another country while receiving academic credit toward your degree plan.

Bauer Career Fair
September 15
Noon – 4 p.m. | UH Hilton

Meet with 100s of employers during the biannual Bauer Career Fair, hosted by the Rockwell Career Center. This event, opened to Bauer students only, provides the opportunity to meet with employers from various industries looking to fill internships, part-time and full-time positions.

In addition to Bauer events, Fall 2023 offers an opportunity for students to join several College programs and organizations such as the Program for Excellence in Selling, Wolff Center, the Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Program and Bauer Ambassadors.

 Cyvia and Melvyn Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship Application
Application Deadline: September 22

The Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship, the #1 undergraduate entrepreneurship program in the nation, prepares students to assume leadership roles in the business world, teaching them how to run their own business from the inception of an idea through its implementation.

Applications are now open and close on September 22.

A.R. “Tony” and Maria J. Sanchez Program for Excellence in Selling Application
Application Deadline: November 12

The A.R. "Tony" and Maria J. Sanchez Program for Excellence in Selling (PES) prepares students for careers in selling, facilitating internships and providing career placement.

The program teaches undergraduate students how to leverage technology, including social media and Salesforce.com, to enhance sales productivity and profitability of salespeople from the very beginning of their sales career.

Every student in every program class engages in live selling. Students are required to achieve a sales quota in each of their classes as part of their grade for the PES.

Applications are now open and close on Nov. 12.

Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Program Application
Application Deadline: September 6

The Ted Bauer Leadership Certificate Program (TBLCP) helps students by teaching them about teamwork, professionalism, and most importantly self-awareness. Students in the program can expect to learn more about themselves through weekly workshops, teambuilding exercises, leadership assessments, and ongoing discussions with their peers.

Applications are now open and close on September 6.

Bauer Ambassadors Application
Application Deadline: September 3

Bauer Ambassadors (BA) is a program for an elite group of undergraduate business students who represent Bauer College, its spirit and values, to the campus and community. Bauer Ambassadors represent the college at key events and activities for the Dean's Office, Undergraduate Business Programs (UBP), and the Rockwell Career Center (RCC), and serve as Ethics Advocates for their fellow students.
