Back to Bauer: Department of Accountancy & Taxation

Through industry-relevant curriculum, leading academic research and a thriving student community, the Department of Accountancy & Taxation at the C. T. Bauer College of Business is training the next generation of accounting professionals.

The department offers a range of academic programs, including the BBA in Accounting, the STEM-designated Master of Science in Accountancy (MSACCY) and Ph.D. in Accounting. The department also offers the Professional Program in Accountancy (PPA), an accelerated pathway dual degree program designed to enable students to earn BBA and MSACCY degrees in five years; the Certificate in Accountancy Program (CAP), a non-degree program designed to help working professionals meet the academic requirements for CPA eligibility or to qualify for the MSACCY program; and the Internal Audit (IA) Certificate, to supply undergraduate students of all majors with theoretical and practical applications of internal auditing.
